Recently, LEPU SURGICAL's PROCISION 1000 Ultrasonic Surgical System got the Scientific Committee approval from EDA. LEPU SURGICAL is also the first Chinese company to get the Scientific Committee approval from EDA.
The Egyptian EDA is the sole entity responsible for drug control, registration, trade and supervision, licensing pharmaceutical and medical device entities, regulating drug and device registration and pricing processes, etc. All medical products produced, imported, and sold in Egypt must be registered with EDA. Still, Egypt has stricter restrictions on importing medical products, and the registration period is sometimes as long as 2-3 years.
LEPU SURGICAL's PROCISION 1000 Ultrasonic Surgical System obtained the EU CE certification as early as 2019, and also got the Brazilian ANVISA registration at the beginning of this year. Since the PROCISION 1000 Ultrasonic Surgical System was launched, it has been exported to more than 30 countries and regions such as Europe, South America, Southeast Asia, India, and the Middle East. The ultrasonic scalpel system product line contains 3 types of scalpels, a total of 9 models, including a reusable ultrasonic scalpel.
LEPU SURGICAL plans to launch the Scissor Type Scalpel by the end of this year to expand its product line. At the same time, other innovative scalpel models, patented generators with AI algorithms, and 2-working-mode generators are also under active development and will be available globally shortly.
