BEIJING, Jan 12, 2021--In November 2020, The European Commission (EC) published a Recommendation on the use of rapid antigen tests for the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infection. Following the instruction, earlier this January Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research published public guidance for national-wide COVID-2019 tests in all schools.
Around five million SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test Kit (Colloidal Gold Immuno-chromatography) (Supplier: Beijing Lepu Medical Technology Co., Ltd. China) for students will be provided to all schools in Austria. Heinz Faßmann, Bundesminister für Bildung, Wissenschaft und Forschung, advocates that more children take part in this regular antigen testing, the safer the school life becomes for children and everyone else.
